About the role:
We currently have an opening for an experienced Detailer (Lightweight steel) at Smart Steel in our Malaga branch.
This role will report to the Design manager, include duties such as:
- Professionally Steel detail using Endurocad & Smartsteel software programs.
- Capable of 3D modelling & using 3D software.
- Liaise with customers & engineers to confirm projects for production.
- Arrange production jobs ready for rollforming as per Smartsteel procedures.
- Capable of reading client architectural & structural drawings.
- Ensure quality procedures and targets are being achieved.
- Software training & meeting endurocad detailing standards.
- Software training & assistance to new detailers
- Assist with design solutions in collaboration with the design manager.
- Assist with material takeoffs & assist on collaborating quotes for Smartsteel tenders.
- Assist with EnduroHub/rollformer requirements/errors on a need-by-need basis.
- Liaise with builders & installers for site query assistance.
About the candidate:
- Competence in use of Endurocad & Sketchup 3D software is expected by the Smartsteel detailing team.
- Experience in a manufacturing / fabrication environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent customer service / negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound computer skills and familiar with MS Office
